Chong Hwa Chinese Independent High School, Jalan St. Thomas, Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur is one of the top secondary school in the country and it is very well known among all the educationist community in South East Asia.
This year the school celebrates its’ 90 years anniversary. A ceremony was held on 17th Jan 2009 to welcome all the new form one students and it was attended by many VIPs that contributed to the development of this great school.
Food stalls and other stalls selling various things were set up by the students to raise fund for the school. Although this is a private school, they still need extra funds and contribution from the public as the cost of managing and maintaining the school is rather high.
Apart from that some of the students also performed stage shows in the main hall and money are collected from the sales of tickets at the entrance.
Here are some of the random pictures I took at this event.

ReplyDeleteWah! Where have you been? Tot u kena tangkap ISA or sumting liao! Hahahahahaha!!!! One time, I saw an intervies on TV, the principal said they were already teaching all subjects in English and they study Chinese as a subject. True or not? (That time they wanted to start teaching Science and Maths in English) He said the students all go overseas to English-speaking countries, not to Taiwan and China.
