My cheesy crust pizza before and after baking. I made this pizza on the morning I supposed to send my niece off to Hong Kong to further her studies. My nephew came over to stay at my house because he wanted to see MJ tour show in Astro that night an also surf the net together with my son. By the time the show ended, it was passed midnight and we were supposed to wake up at three am to go to the airport. I baked this pizza while my nephew and my son were watching MJ Tour. Since I had a pack of cream cheese in my fridge I decided to make a cheesy crust pizza for a change. By the time I finished baking the pizza, the whole house was full of nice pizza aroma. My neighbour told me the next morning that he thought he was dreaming of pizza...... ha ha ha!
Pizza Dough Ingredients
350 gms of flour½ teaspoon of dried yeast mixed with warm water and 1 teaspoon of sugar½ teaspoon of salt (or to taste)
Cream cheese or mozzarella cheese, ½ cup
Toppings
Onions, 1 large pc, cut small pieces
Capsicum, 1 pc, cut into cubes
Mozzarella cheese, ½ cup
Frozen mixed vegetable (carrot, green bean, corn), ½ cup
Tomato sauce, 3 table spoons
Dried Oregano, 1 teaspoon
Smoked sausage, 3 pcs, cut into cubes
Mix all the dough ingredients together (except the cheese) and cover with a clean towel for around 45 minutes. Shape the dough until it is large enough to cover over to the side of your baking tray (make sure you oil your baking tray first). Put the cream or mozzarella cheese at the edge of the dough. Fold the dough to cover the cheese. Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza and put all the topping on top of it. Bake in preheated oven for around 25 minutes at 180 Deg C.

I've never thought of making my own pizza dough, it really doesn't sound that hard, I'll have to try it sometime. Thanks, Pete.
ReplyDeleteChristine : You just have to vary the amount of water and flour to make it perfect, not too sticky but soft enough to work with. But if you use the right amount of water, a little dry would be good...very easy to make the dough flat.
ReplyDeleteyou make me want pizza now T___T.
