Chung Hwa Independent High School, Jalan Ipoh Kuala Lumpur is a well known Chinese school that has excellent academic results. Chong Hwa being a Chinese Independent school is a non profit institution. The school expenses are supported by the fees collection from students, contributions from Alumni, well wishers, Board of Directors and sponsors. Their ex students are much sought after by institution of higher learning and also employers that are looking for quality staff. Apart from that, the students also participate actively in various extra curricular activities the school has to offer.     Now this is one different extra curricular comparing to all the government school I have seen. Very interesting. I would enjoy the chinese instruments one best... though I am much westernized deep in me, but I do enjoy the sounds of "Er Hu" and the er.. "Gu Qie" or something lol hahaha. Mind you my hanyu pinyin is REALLY bad :P.

  2. Ya...heard it's a good school, people queue up before the break of dawn to register their kids. Heard that even before Mahathir launched the policy, they were already teaching Science and Maths in English as the reality is most of their students would go overseas...

  3. Ladyviral : They have more than 50 activities for the students to choose. My hanyu pinyin also 'pengsan' one! Ha Ha

    STP : Ya, now not easy to enrol in this school. Last year I heard 1300 students sat for the entrance exam, but only 900 accepted! Some of the stuff they learned in Form One like Form Six lorrrr.
