Dimsum Meal at Canton I in One Utama after Wing Chun Demonstration

.....continue from previous post, Wing Chun Demonstration at 1U................ After watching the Wing Chun demonstration at IU new wing we walked to the middle section to meet up with 3Kor (3rd Auntie). Daddy suggested that we have a little snack at Canton I Dim Sum restaurant. It was packed with people and we have to wait for around 20 minutes to get a table. The photo below was taken when at the queue.

Nothing to do while on the queue, just watch the cooks preparing wanton mee and chopping up roasted meat.

Ahhhh, finally we managed to get a seat and we quickly placed our orders. The wantan mee tasted quite good and the mee is very springy. The wantan is filled with fresh juicy prawns. I love both the soup and dry wantan mee! Nice!

3 Kor ordered the piggy pau for me and also two steamed egg yolk custard bun. I took one piggy bun home to show mummy but my kor kor (elder brother) ate it when I reached home! Arrrrrrgh!

Then the fired lobak kor came (radish cake). A little spicy but taste quite nice with the crunchy beansprouts (taugeh). Total bill plus drinks came out to be RM81.30. 3 kor belanja (treat).

  5. Hi Pete,

Have you cooked beef tendon? When I was in Sinagpore, they sell beef tendon soup, but you hardly get any tendon.

Yesterday, i saw some nice looking tendon, and stewed it almost 3 hours. Haven't eaten it because the husband doesn't want to eat it. Eating alone is no fun.

You are right Pete, eating alone is no fun, but you can invite some friends over, and I am sure it will be fun.
