Salted fish goes along well with sambal belacan (chilly with fermented shrimp paste), especially extra spicy ones. I made some sambal belachan with chilly, toasted belacan and lime juice. Then I fried some ikan kurau masin (salted treadfin fish) until they are crispy. Mmmmmmm, I love to eat these two dishes with steamed rice....yum yum! Staying skinny, peteformation way! LOL!
