My vegetarian chap fan, brown rice with four dishes (RM4). The boss was wondering why I took his photo! LOL! I normally eat my vegetarian food in Parklin which is located at the Atria, Damansara Jaya outdoor foodcourt. Parklin has been in business in this location for a very long time and I love their vegetarian curry very much. Among my first few posts, when I started my blog 2 years ago was about Parklin Vegetarian Food Stall. This stall offers vegetarian Chap Fan (economical rice) at a reasonable price. All the vegetarian dishes serve here are quite good and tasty. The vegetarian curry dish is a must order whenever I visit Parklin. I ‘tar pau’ (take away) some of the vegetarian curry for my wife once and she loves it very much. The aromatic and creamy vegetarian curry is cooked with cabbage, tofu pok (fried tofu), long beans plus other vegetables. I scooped a large ladle of curry into my organic brown rice (they have white rice as well), a piece of siew ngor, fried crispy fritters with sour cream and some long beans. The boss added more long beans for me when I was about to pay for the food. This plate of vegetarian brown rice with dishes cost me RM4. The vegetarian siew ngor (mock roast duck) and crispy fritter taste real good. I ate the whole plate clean, no bones left ...wait! Vegetarian food where got bones, ha ha ha!
Open: Lunch only

I like vegetarian dishes. There's a good one that serves Taiwanese style vegetarian dishes in Taman Mayang (next to a pet shop) but I don't remember the name.

ReplyDeleteHi Pete
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping a few words in my blog recently.
Your post on vegetarian food is interesting as I love vegetarian food very much, mainly because of health reason. Hahaha...
But then, a friend of mine hate vegetarian food so much . He said these people are pitiful! they want to eat meat so much that they create meat-like vegetarian food. Still...he said...they have the intention to eat meat and that they are not purely vegetarian. Hahaha... oh well...that is his opinion right?. We can't help it.
As for me Pete, i still love vegetarian food whatever the reason is.
Cheerio
I like the rojak from the motorcyle It's just outside the food court
ReplyDeleteYeah, this area got very good cheap food. Less commercialised kinda vendors i would say. Rojak, soya bean..all good.
