These Beh Teh Soh are from Butterworth. They are priced at RM3.80 for 10 pieces.
These Hiong Piah are from Perak, Yee Hup. Very crispy and contains less sugar inside. I love the taste!
Nice packaging but pricey, around RM1 per piece sold in a packet of 10s. Is this the same as beh teh saw from the one and only Him Heang at Jalan Burma, Penang? I really love this biscuit. It costs about RM6 for 8 pieces all individually wrapped. The last time I visited Penang, bought a dozen boxes! Never tried from this Yee Hup brand before. Wonder which one is better?
ReplyDeleteRM1 each is really too expensive...Two of those+20 sen, I can have a bowl of noodles here already! They say best is from Taiping? Or Teluk Intan? I like it when it is creamy and sticky inside (not dry)and the skin is flaky.
