John : I am amazed that someone in the senior management level don’t know what ‘cash flow projection’ is!

Me : Oh, are you talking about the mega project case?

John : I think, even a housewife knows something about ‘cash flow projection’.

Me : Wah, you foresee that your coffee shop business is going to pick up in the coming months?

Ah Lian : Pete....., John......, you see ahh, after attending the hungry ghost prayers ceremony last night, I had a dream. In my dream, one Apek (old man, in Chinese) dressed in white robe told me to buy 4D, Toto and Magnum, number 0909. He also told me, sure ‘kena’ (strike) first prize wan! So you see, today I hentam (bet) RM50 big and RM50 small.

John : Ha ha ha, you called that a cash flow projection!

Ah Lian : Ya lor, this is Chinese style cash flow projection. You know ah, some more the Apek told me that after I ‘kena’ (strike) first prize; I will marry my ‘Ang Moh’ (American) sweetheart leh! (wink wink with John) John nearly fell off his chair and I laughed like crazy!
