Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, Brem Mall, Kepong - A Quickie Meal

 Kid sure gets hungry real fast, especially when they accompany their parents for shopping. I was in Kepong Brem Mall last weekend with my family and I took the kids for a quickie meal at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng, the famous Hong Kong restaurant franchise. This famous trademark of Hong Kong landed in our Malaysian shore in 2003. Wong Kok in Kowloon means flourishing or busy corner.
I was not hungry yet, so I just ordered some drinks while the kids filled their stomach!

As usual, my daughter would go for her favourite soupy wantan mee (egg noodle, RM9.90). It is served with a plate of succulent and sweet char siew (roast pork belly). My daughter is a small eater and to my surprise, she managed to finish all the wantan mee. She said that the wantan mee tasted really good. Mmmmm, maybe she is really very hungry too! LOL!

 My daughter loves soupy wantan mee but my son loves the dry (kon) type. This dry wantan mee (RM9.90) also came with a generous amount of char siew. My son 'sapu' (ate) all the dry wantan mee and char siew.
