Fishing????? At Desa Park City Carpark????/

One Sunday afternoon.......................................

Is this man fishing at the field next to Desa Park Citys' commercial center carpark? Looks like he has caught a big fish! Come on, reel in slowly, release the drag, don't let the line breaks! Here comes the big one! Someone please get a landing net. The fish is fighting and making a last minute dash to escape!...............wait, he is actually not fishing............

He is flying a series of large Malaysian Flags kite. Wow, what a way to fly a kite! Using a fishing rod! LOL!

Desa Park City Steamboat – Ketam Village (Individual Pot) - Pork Free

I took my kids to Desa Park City playground a fortnight ago, together with their cousin. They played until almost dinner time and we hopped over to Ketam Village Steamboat in Desa Park City Commercial Complex. I understand they also have an outlet in IKANO. This restaurant was packed with diners when we walked in. One thing good about this place is there are plenty of space in the corridors to add chairs and tables. In no time, the helpful staff arranged a place for us, 5 adults and 4 children. You can dine here and enjoy the view of Desa Park City at night. I like the concept of this type of individual pot steamboat (normal steamboat have one big pot that everyone shares). Each person will have their individual pot to cook whatever they like from the set dish or ala carte dish. Tomyam and clear soups are available here. Individual induction cookers are used here to fire up the individual steamboat pot and only stainless steel pots will be heated. Therefore you will not feel hot unlike the normal gas type of steamboat pot which will radiate lots of heat to it’s’ surroundings. An Outing at Desa ParkCity Park, Gated Township with High End Houses and Condominium

Desa ParkCity is a gated township with high end condominium and houses. I used to fish in the pond there before they develop this piece of land. I have caught many catfish and ikan belida from the pond. Sometimes I would go straight to the pond straight after work with my friends and fish until nightfall. Crazy old days! I took my family there last week to check out the commercial area and the nice park within the township. The commercial area has many nice restaurants and places to hang out. So if you see a guy in pagoda singlet, shoulder long hair and slippers blogging away in one of the Café there, very likely it is me. Ha Ha ….LOL Aeon (Jaya Jusco) has an outlet there. The commercial area and park are accessible to the public but the residential areas are guarded. To go to the place, you have to take the LDP from Ikea heading towards Kepong. After the toll, you must keep to the left lane and don’t go over to the right flyover that take you to MRR2 to Kuantan. You will see a U turn before a traffic light below this fly over. Take the U turn and keep left and turn left at the first left junction. You will reach a roundabout, take 3 o’clock and go slow through the Desa ParkCity guardhouse. You will come to another roundabout. 9 o’clock will take you to the front of the commercial area and 3 o’clock will take you to the back of the commercial area and the park.
