Spaghetti Farm, Mid Valley Mega Mall

It was just around 1 hour after we had breakfast and my youngest son complained that he was hungry again. I took him to the lower ground level of Mid Valley Megamall to look for some light snacks for him since it was still a bit early for lunch. I spotted The Spaghetti Farm outlet not very far away from the escallator and decided to give it a try.
I was wondering whether he can finish his food so I just ordered a plain Pomodoro Spaghetti (RM6.90) for him. They have a promotion during that time; for every spaghetti meal ordered, you are allow to add a soup and soft drinks for RM3.50 only. So the total bill came up to be RM10.40.


The spaghetti was quite delicious and my son loves it. I guess he likes everything that has tomato sauce in it! LOL!
Nothing to shout about the mushroom soup.....

Since it was still early for lunch, there were still many empty tables. By the time we finished our meal, the crowd started to come it.
A good place to have a family meal!

A Quickie Family Meal at Yellow Cab Pizza, Bintang Terrace, Lot 10

Yellow Cab Pizza outlet is located outside Lot 10 next to the busy Jalan Sultan Ismail Road Facing the side of Sg Wang Plaza. If you come out from the main door of Lot 10, walk to your left and you can find this small airconditioned pizza outlet. My brother in law and I brought the kids here while the ladies shop in Lot 10. All of us were very hungry after hours of shopping! I ordered a package of 2 pizzas, 6 jacket potatoes, 1 large spaghetti bolognaise and this include a complimentary large bottle of coke. All for a price of RM75 (USD22). Well, all I can say is the food here is delicious and we had a great time eating here! New York, New York here I come....my little toddler seems to be fascinated with the Big Apple City picture on the wall!

Aiyo Colonel Sanders aka Mr KFC, Why So Small?

A fortnight ago, I went to KFC in Kepong Jaya Jusco with my kids. Since KFC came out with a new dish, the Shrimp Stix, I wanted to try them by ordering the snack plate combo with Shrimp Stix. They sure look succulent and tasty in the brochure and advertisement. I am not sure KFC worldwide have this dish or it is only introduced in Malaysia. I thought it would be nice to have some seafood instead of chicken all the time! But when I saw the Shrimp Stixs, I am surprised that they looked very much smaller that the ones we see in the advertisement and brochures. This is what you see in the advertisement and brochures

This was the actual one that was served to me! See how small if you compare it relatively to the one in the brochure! One mouthful and my kids finished it immediately.
