Tasty Fried Kueh Teow Mee – Desa Aman Puri Pasar Malam (Night Market, every Tuesday)

This is my daughter’s favourite fried kueh teow mee (flat rice noodles with yellow noodles) and I would buy it for her whenever I visit the pasar malam (night market) in Desa Aman Puri (1st Mee stall at market entrance), KL on Tuesday or Kepong Industrial Park (KIP) on Saturday. The stall set up is rather simple; a place for frying the mee with an industrial fan and 2 tables to put all the fried noodles. It might look very simple when you see the aunty frying the noodles but then the mee is very tasty and full of wok hei aroma. The frying style is more of southern or maybe KL wet/dark style unlike Penang which is rather dry and the noodles are not so dark. I remembered the first time when I bought a small packet of fried noodles from this stall, my daughter who is a small eater managed to finish all of it. So, nowadays I have to buy a large packet which cost me RM4 (USD1.20). Heh heh heh.......Tuesday tomorrow, I will drop by Desa Aman Puri Pasar Malam to tar pau (take away) this nice fried noodle for supper!
Do you like fried yellow noodles only, kueh teow only or mixed?
