My sister in law got me this nice cylinder shaped bak kua (Chinese Dried Meat, yuk kon) when I went back to my hometown last week. It is the first time; I have eaten this type of bak kua. The texture is smooth and tender but a bit oily. The shape and packaging might not look very appetizing but it actually tastes very good. The taste is a little different from the common flat piece bak kua but like a cross between bak hu and bak kua. I took a look at the packaging and found this address on it.
425, Lorong Pasar, 34300, Bagan Serai Perak.
