I know everyone is more familiar with Banana cake. This is one of my crazy recipe experiment which resulted in Banana Bread. Actually this is a healthier version of Banana cake because I used yeast instead of baking powder. Taste almost the same as banana cake! LOL!
Here is my recipe for Banana bread.
Flour, 3 cups
Yeast, 1 teaspoon (dried)
Brown Sugar, 1 cup
Banana, 3 large ones, blended or mashed
Butter, 2 tablespoons
Mix all the ingredients together and slowly add water until the mixture is wet (not dry as compared to bread dough). The mixture should be wet so that the banana bread would be moist and not too dry. Pour the banana bread mixture into bread baking pan lined with parchment (baking) paper. Let the mixture rise for around 3 hours. Bake in preheated oven at 180 Dec C for 25 minutes.
