Hou Mei Fish Head Curry Restaurant, Setapak
I took my sister to this restaurant when she came to KL to visit me recently. We ordered prawn curry instead of fish head curry because we like prawn more than fish. We also ordered Otak-otak and kailan fried with salted fish. We were given complimentary ABC soup.
The prawn curry (RM28) is creamy and has nice fragrance. The prawn is fresh and succulent. The otak-otak(RM16) has been fried so it tasted different from the steamed Penang version. However, the otak-otak is tasty. The salted fish kailan (RM13) is ok but a litte bit on the salty side. This restaurant has an ambient atmosphere and it is very relaxing to dine here.
The total bill plus drinks for four person came out to be RM69.51.
Complimentary soup.............................................Otak-otak
Sorry, my camera ran out of battery........so I have to use my HP to snap these photos....
