Kim Sun & Great Wellesley Foodcourt, Chai Leng Park, Butterworth, Char Kueh Teow, Kueh Teow Soup, Hokkien Mee and Vegetarian Mee

My friend, Mr. Eng has been frying Char Kueh Teow for the last 38 years and I am his faithful customer for 30 years. Somehow, I have acquired the taste of is CKT and I think it is one of the best one around with its’ own unique taste . Mr. Eng starts selling CKT in Kim Sun Restaurant opposite the Chai Leng Park wet market at 7am in the morning until lunch time, 1pm. At night he will be at the Great Wellesley Foodcourt and business starts at 7pm till midnight; but normally his CKT will be sold out before midnight. He is a real Kung Fu master at frying CKT. If you watch closely, you will notice that he stir the kueh teow with the spatula real fast. You can choose to have the kueh teow fried with chicken eggs or duck eggs. A plate of CKT cost RM2.80 and it is served with prawn, chinese sausage (Lap Cheong) and cockles. \ Mr. Eng cooking up a plate of tasty Char kueh Teow for me. The Kim Sun Restaurant.....................................Yummy and delicious There are other good food available here as well : Nice coffee and tasty Penang Kueh Teow Soup Wantan mee for my son, Hokkien Mee as well and the owner of the restaurant recomended the vegetarian curry mee. Saw someone eating the vegetarian Jawa Mee, looks delicious. Gonna try that next time. The porridge and kueh teow soup stall.
